Hello, my name is Sara Prengel-Baumgartner. I am a board-certified primary care physician and a dual citizen of Germany and the United States.

Born in Wiesbaden, I spent my childhood here until moving to San Antonio, TX, as a teenager. I completed my undergraduate studies in the US Pacific Northwest. I then returned to Germany to study Medicine at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.

I have been fortunate to gain experience not only here in Germany but also in the US at the University of Alabama – Birmingham (UAB) and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Following my medical studies, I started residency in geriatrics at the St. Hildegard Hospital in Mainz and finished primary care residency at the Praxis am Museum Wiesbaden with Dr. Steinhart in 2018.

I was a partner from 2021-2024 at the primary care practice in Westcenter Wiesbaden.
In April of 2024, I opened my new location here at Neugasse 9 and am happy to serve as your primary care physician in the heart of Wiesbaden.

• Urinary analysis

• Ultrasound (abdomen, thyroid, carotid)
